I have been working and studying with with our head trainer, Balázs Simon, since 2014. My main area is to integrate obedience work into everyday life and to train the dogs in mental and physical exercises.

I have been working professionally with dogs since 2012 and I specialise in the physical and social conditioning of our dogs.

I have been working with dogs for 6 years and I’ve been helping those who need it as a medical masseuse for 10 years (I have worked with patients who were healthy and patients who are disabled by illness, by accident, or were born with a physical challenge). Since 2015 I have been working with patients who have Down syndrome, largely due to a personal motivating factor as my nephew, Balazs, has Trisomy 21 (a type of Down syndrome).
I have been working with dogs since 2010, when my husband, Frank, started a family business, training and grooming dogs.
Currently apart from being a mother I complete the office duties of our business. Our daughter, Petra, is 3.5 years old, our dog, Angel, is 6.

I have been working as a teacher with children and young adults with special needs for 23 years. It is a great challenge for me to provide them with the special care and individual help that they need, and this has led me to working with Assistance dogs.
There are still many changes in the education, regulation, and monitoring of the profession, as we are trying to adapt it to needs of the different age groups and users. During the past 15 years the burden of this work was shouldered and helped by almost 40 dogs and our 4 children.

In Hungary everybody knows me as ‘Doggie Lajos’. I always had and will always have dogs. I have been training dogs since 1988. In 2002 I decided I wanted to work with therapy and seizure response dogs and went on to form a service dog foundation (4 people with 2 dogs).
In 2007 I went to Germany to learn the training of seizure response dogs. In the same year I started teaching others to train service dogs, assistance dogs and seizure response dogs.
I aided in creating the regulations for the training, testing and use of service dogs and helped compile the teaching and examination material used by professional trainers. I am also a founder and committee member of the Hungarian Association for Therapy and Service Dogs, which monitors the service dog organisations in Hungary, conducts examinations for Hungarian service dogs and also keeps a database of all service dogs in the country.

I have 25 years of professional experience. During this time, I was the head and main trainer of two leading dog schools in Hungary. During the first few years I trained police dogs, later I specialised in training family dogs and sports dogs. I am one of the best in Hungary in all disciplines, which can also be seen in my results.
The training method that I have created compiles all the disciplines that a certain dog can be trained for. With this method, a security dog can be fit to live safely together with a family as well.

I am Éva Fazekas, I started working with dogs 14 years ago, studying under Balázs Simon. I specialise in puppy socialisation and training. I founded the Steel Sheppard German Shepherd kennel, where I focused on developing the dogs foundational skills. Our Puppy Training program ensures that our dogs possess the correct health, genetics, and temperament to go on to excel with their training for ALL disciplines. Protection, Assistance, Family Life and Sporting alike.

Like many others working with dogs, I had dogs from a very young age, which meant a lot of happiness, quality time, and learning, which made a great impact on my life.
I have been training dogs professionally since 1995, this was the year when I completed the Hungarian Police’s course of training dogs for special law enforcement tasks. It was always an exciting task to train dogs for new things. I really enjoy all the challenges and success that come with this work.
I live in Ireland since 2006 and I currently run a dog grooming company known as HollywoodDog Mobile Dog Grooming.

I have been interested in dogs ever since I was a child, I was crazy about them regardless of their size, colour, or breed. I started working with dogs in 2015, when after finishing university I started working at an animal shelter. I participated in the care and adoption process of over two hundred dogs day by day. During my time there I understood that all dogs are special and individual, and they can change someone’s life entirely. Two years later I ended up in the world of animal assisted therapy and this was when I started experiencing miracles every day. I saw the spark in the children’s eyes during the first session and witnessed the progress we made with the help of the dogs in a few sessions. That was when I realised that this is what I want to do in the future.

My life was turned upside down in 2012 when our first dog, Lili the yellow lab became a part of the family. A year later Mira, the black lab arrived. It is impossible to compare the love that a dog can give to anything, they are the best therapists in the world. If I had to sum up what I got from dogs in one sentence, I would quote Gyula Illyés: ‘Whilst others praise their scholars with faithful hearts, I was shown the way to life by a dog’. Animal assisted therapy especially interests me, you can see on many forums, that during each session there is visible change. Dog assisted therapy can give new hope to children and adults as well. One needs to have empathy, dedication, sensibility, and a good soul. I really hope I possess all these, my job is not just a workplace for me, but a real passion and for this I am grateful.
